Dear Company Leaders and Dear Colleagues:
Hello everyone! I’m Jia Qingbo, a sales representative from the Sales Department of Shuangyuan Printed Iron Can Co., Ltd. First of all, on behalf of my entire family, I’d like to extend our sincerest thanks and heartfelt gratitude to all of you! Secondly, I have some great news to share with my colleagues: The results of my son Jia Haolin’s medical tests are in— he has been diagnosed with aplastic anemia (non-severe), and his condition is being managed conservatively through traditional Chinese medicine, with a gradual recovery expected. Currently, Beijing Children’s Hospital, affiliated with Capital Medical University, has issued him a discharge diagnosis certificate.
On March 28 of this year, my son, Jia Haolin, who was only six years old at the time, suffered from persistent nosebleeds and was successively taken to Linyi Maternal and Child Health Hospital, Linyi People’s Hospital, and Beijing Children’s Hospital affiliated with Capital Medical University for examination. He was eventually diagnosed with a blood cell disorder—aplastic anemia (bone marrow failure). At that time, his condition had worsened, and the hospital issued a “Notification of Critical Condition and Critical Illness Notice” for him. He had already undergone four bone marrow biopsies, and his frail little body was enduring tremendous pain. Each time after a biopsy, he would cry and say to his parents, “It hurts so much…” Yet, despite all the pain, our strong-willed child persevered.
What pains me most are his mother and I; what worries me the most are my company’s dear leaders and colleagues. The illness has deeply touched the hearts of all kind-hearted people. At that time, my family felt like a withered leaf trembling on the brink of collapse in a stormy wind and rain. Faced with immense pressure and nearing the breaking point, our company’s leaders and colleagues promptly extended a helping hand to our family. My colleagues generously contributed—some donated tens of yuan, others hundreds or even thousands—collectively raising over 40,000 yuan. Moreover, my employer, Shuangyuan Tinplate Can Manufacturing Co., Ltd., chipped in an additional 50,000 yuan—the “life-saving money”—which was delivered to us in a timely manner. I’m deeply grateful to each and every one of you who have shown such care and kindness toward me. Thank you so much for your constant concern about my child’s condition and for standing by my family during the toughest moments.
It’s a parent’s natural duty to care for their children; and the fact that everyone cares for my child is a testament to the strength of our company’s corporate culture. I’m deeply grateful for your generous outpouring of love, which has made possible a courageous act of perseverance and spread the warmth of life! I’m also immensely thankful to the company for extending its warmth precisely when I needed it most. I feel truly fortunate to be part of such a wonderful collective.
Once again, I’d like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all the leaders and colleagues for your care and support. I’ll definitely pull myself together, stand strong alongside my family, and continue fighting bravely against this illness until we achieve a decisive victory and my child’s full recovery! At the same time, I’ll work even harder and show my appreciation for the company’s kindness through concrete actions.
Wishing you and your family peace and safety—may good people enjoy a lifetime of peace!
